female friends

Now I have a lot of female friends. And at one point or another, one of them has been really pissed at me because of something I said to them.

Now, I dont regret any of these things that I have said, because they were my honest opinions. I have been called harsh But I still dont regret them because I didnt say these things with any malice.

However, I realize that women, or rather it seems the women who I am friends with, take these things personally, as if I am attacking them as opposed to the particular situation that I give my advice on.

So from now on, so as to keep some sanity in my life I am no longer going to offer my opinion on much unless they specifically solicit my opinion. If after that they still get pissed, well they can sod off. Doesnt mean I love them any less though

What brought this on? And you couldn't keep your opinion to yourself if you tried :) You just need to learn tact. :P

but thats the thing rhanda, i am never talking about appearances or anything like that.

i am usually talking about something that happened or a choice they make.

at any rate I dont see the point in encouraging potentially destructive behavior.
